The Indiana Hoosiers parted ways with coach Archie Miller on Monday, ending his disappointing tenure with the team.

Despite major struggles since Bob Knight left, the Hoosiers are still considered by many to be a blue-blood program. Thus, there should be plenty of interest in the job opening.

However, don’t expect Alabama coach Nate Oats to interview for the position. Per Matt Norlander of CBS Sports, Oats has “no desire to leave Alabama” for a number of reasons:

Indeed, Oats just landed a major contract extension. Plus, the Alabama program is currently in better shape than Indiana, as Oats just led the Tide to regular-season and SEC Tournament titles.

We’ll see who the Hoosiers hire, but it doesn’t sound like it will be Oats!
