Jalen Hurts made headlines Wednesday when multiple outlets reported that his name has been entered into the NCAA transfer portal. It’s not a guarantee that Hurts will transfer, but it allows other coaching staffs to begin recruiting him.

With that news, BetDSI has released on odds where he’ll land if he decides to transfer. Houston, which recently hired former West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen, is the betting among 15 teams listed. Three SEC teams are also included.

  • Houston +150
  • Arizona +300
  • Maryland +400
  • UCLA +500
  • TCU +500
  • Florida State +750
  • Florida +1000
  • Louisville +1000
  • Tennessee +1000
  • UCF +1500
  • Texas A&M +1500
  • Oklahoma +2000
  • Florida Atlantic +2000
  • West Virginia +2000
  • Washington State +2500

Those who think he’ll reunite with one of his former offensive coordinators, either Mike Locksley (Maryland) or Lane Kiffin (Florida Atlantic) have the options to bet on those schools. Noticeably absent from BetDSI’s list is Auburn. Some have predicted Hurts would head to the Plains with Tigers QB Jarrett Stidham departing for the NFL Draft. While he would be a fit in Gus Malzahn’s system, AU is not one of BetDSI’s options.
