You can go ahead and add another Alabama player to an NFL roster.

Former Tide WR DeAndrew White signed with the New England Patriots Monday, the team announced, and he spent last season on their practice squad.

White originally signed with the 49ers as a free agent following the 2015 NFL Draft, and he was released from the organization on September 3, 2016. He was signed to the Patriots’ practice squad 11 days later. White caught just two passes for 18 yards, returned six kickoffs and one punt with the 49ers during his rookie season.

White totaled 94 catches for 1,294 yards and 12 touchdowns during his Alabama career from 2011-2014.

Luckily for White, New England has a nice track record of taking late-round picks or free agents and turning them into assets for their organization.

White joins former Alabama standouts Dont’a Hightower and Cyrus Jones on the Patriots’ 90-man roster.
