Pete Golding is reportedly on his way to be Ole Miss’ new defensive coordinator, as he’s reportedly leaving Alabama.

Now the focus turns to Alabama’s new defensive coordinator, and possible candidates.

Multiple reports have suggested that Georgia co-defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann could be in the mix, as Pat Smith of WJOX reported, along with Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports and The Athletic. Feldman also mentioned former Wisconsin defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard and Jeremy Pruitt, the former Tennessee coach and Alabama DC.

“The 32-year-old Bama grad broke into coaching as a student assistant and then spent four years as a Alabama GA under Saban,” Feldman noted about Schumann.
