Five-star WR Jerry Jeudy doesn’t plan to be a high school student on National Signing Day or submit a Letter of Intent to Alabama, so the Deerfield Beach (Pompano Beach, Fla.) standout decided to hold a ceremony signing his financial aid agreement Monday.

While the agreement is non-biding for Jeudy, it’s a step toward enrolling at UA, which he plans to do in January. As an early enrollee, he won’t require a LOI in February since he is already a student-athlete. By signing the financial aid agreement, Alabama is also allowed to continue talking to Jeudy during periods of otherwise restricted communication with recruits.

Jeudy is rated the No. 25 overall recruit, No. 4 wide receiver and No. 6 Florida prospect by 247Sports Composite. He committed to Alabama on July 28.
