WATCH: Quinnen Williams reveals what he's learned from former standout Alabama DLs
By all indications, Quinnen Williams looks like the next great Alabama defensive lineman who will make his mark in the NFL.
It’s a long tradition most recently carried on by players like the New York Giants’ Dalvin Tomlinson and Washington Redskins linemen Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne. Williams wisely leans on the guys who came before him, as he revealed during Tuesday’s “The Paul Finebaum Show.”

“Being behind those three guys has helped me tremendously,” Williams told Finebaum. “I try to take out something from all three of them to make me a better player.”
Williams said he has picked up on certain techniques like hand movement but has also learned some general life lessons from the former Crimson Tide defensive linemen. The sophomore claimed he tries to watch every one of their NFL games and that he almost always hears from them after he plays.
“We always keep in communication,” Williams said. “Just that brotherhood we’ve got here.”
In a few years, Williams might be the pro that Alabama players are looking up to.
