Pop Isaacs is staying in the SEC. The well-traveled Texas A&M transfer is heading to Oklahoma.
Isaacs shared the news on Instagram with the help of On3’s Joe Tipton.
It’s the third transfer for Isaacs. The Las Vegas native played for Texas Tech and Creighton before landing in College Station.
Isaacs saw his production dip in his lone season at Texas A&M as he made 33 appearances, but just 8 starts. He averaged 22.3 minutes per game, the lowest participation rate of his career. With the Aggies, Isaacs averaged 9.8 points, 2.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game.
Before Texas A&M, Isaacs was with Creighton for the 2024-25 season. He played in just 8 games, all starts, before his season was cut short due to a hip injury. In those 8 games with the Bluejays, Isaacs averaged a career-high 16.3 points per game.
Isaacs was a regular starter in 2 seasons at Texas Tech. He averaged 11.5 points per game as a freshman and increased that number to 15.8 points per game as a 34-game starter in the 2023-24 season, when he played a career-high 32.8 minutes per contest.
