The Alabama Crimson Tide are losing a lot at the linebacker position this offseason, as both Rashaan Evans and Shaun Dion Hamilton are going to the NFL.
That leaves the Alabama linebacking corps in the hands of Mack Wilson and Dylan Moses. Both are incredibly athletic, but are they ready to handle the leadership responsibilities required by linebackers in Nick Saban’s defense?
On Friday, Evans joined “3 Man Front” on WJOX and said he thinks both players are up to the task, adding that he believes both players will have great 2018 seasons:

“I think he is,” he said. “I think with Dylan as well, right by his side, both of those guys are very competitive guys and I think they complement each other very well. Being able to learn from me and being able to see how the game is supposed to be played, I think those guys are going to have a great season and be able to lead the defense.”
Wilson will likely get the first crack at the starting middle linebacker spot, with Moses perhaps getting some time in other spots. However, expect both to be big parts of the Crimson Tide defense in 2018 and beyond.
