An accident at Bryant-Denny Stadium has left two people hospitalized.

Two construction workers have been hospitalized Saturday after two beams fell at the stadium. Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue spokeswoman Holly Whigham told Stephanie Taylor of Tuscaloosa News that the workers were operating a manlift that was struck when the beams fell, trapping the two men. The accident reportedly happened around 5 p.m. local time.

Whigham told Taylor that firefighters extricated the two men before they were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center. The report states that the victims’ conditions are not publicly available at this time.

Bryant-Denny Stadium is undergoing a massive renovation project. The project is currently in the $92.5-million first phase.
