Ale Kaho was recently granted his release from Washington, and now the former 5-star linebacker has reportedly made a decision on his next school.

According to 247sports, Kaho has released his national letter of intent to play for Alabama and that he will depart for Tuscaloosa as soon as Wednesday night.

Kaho was committed to BYU before flipping to Washington just prior to the early signing period last December. Last week, Washington coach Chris Petersen said Kaho was leaving the Huskies for “personal reasons.”

Kaho was the No. 1 inside linebacker recruit in the 2018 class per the 247sports rankings.

Listed at 6-foot-1, 218 pounds, Kaho played at Reno High School in Reno, Nev. He was officially granted his release from Washington on Monday.

Kaho will be immediately eligible to play for the Crimson Tide.
