The Chicago Bears have the No. 3 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, and it appears they have been kicking the tires on former Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster.

The Bears, in need of some help on defense, have been doing their due diligence on the former Tide star during the pre-draft process.

Foster, who led the Tide with 115 tackles, and came in third on the team with 13 sacks is regarded as an elite NFL prospect despite his explosive incident at the NFL Combine. The Chicago Bears, who had zero Pro Bowlers last year and ranked 24th in the league with 399 points surrendered last season, need difference-makers on both sides of the ball.

While at Alabama, Foster won the Dick Butkus award as the nation’s best linebacker. Maybe the comparisons won’t end there if the Alabama linebacker is selected by Chicago.
