The NFL Combine is coming up this weekend in Indianapolis, and a number of former SEC stars will be watched closely by NFL scouts and coaches.
One of those players is former Alabama RB Josh Jacobs, who some have going in the first round of their mock drafts.
However, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Jacobs will be limited due to a groin injury he suffered recently:
#Bama RB Josh Jacobs, one of the most highly touted RBs in this coming draft, is dealing with a groin injury and will do limited work in Indy at the Combine, source says. Nothing major, but knocks him out of several drills.

Jacobs will still participate a little bit, but it seems like some of the speed work normally done at the combine might be too much for him.
Fortunately, Alabama will also hold a pro day later on in March, so Jacobs will still have an opportunity to get healthy and perform well there.
