Tua Tagovailoa has been quite impressive while leading Alabama to a 6-0 start.

After a preseason quarterback battle between Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts, the Crimson Tide have opted to give Tagovailoa the majority of playing time. And that decision has certainly worked out well.

The Tide have scored 45 or more points in every game, with Tagovailoa being a major factor in that.

Here are some impressive stats regarding Tagovailoa’s start, as shared by SEC Network’s Brandon Zimmerman on Twitter:

  • Hasn’t played during the fourth quarter of any game
  • 31 of 44 drives led by Tagovailoa have resulted in a touchdown
  • Has a QB rating of 258.7; the all-time record is 198.7 set by Baker Mayfield
  • Averaging 19.7 yards per completion
  • Only has seven fewer touchdown passes (18) than incompletions (25)

Tagovailoa looks to continue his impressive start when Alabama hosts Missouri on Saturday.
