LSU and Texas are among the programs most known as ‘DBU’ over recent history, but college football analysts Cole Cubelic and Roman Harper see the next cornerback to become the best in the nation at the position to not be from either of those programs.

Harper and Cubelic insisted Monday that it will be Terrion Arnold of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Harper and Cubelic broke down some of Arnold’s field to show just how good he is at the nuances of playing the position and the rate in which he’s progressing.

On top of that, he’s taken some of Nick Saban’s tough coaching well, something that not all college football players are truly cut out for. That’s something Arnold himself got into during one of his latest press conferences.

“Great job, Terrion Arnold, using the little things we learned from Coach,” Harper said. Check out more from their analysis below:

To this point in the season, Arnold totals 32 combined tackles (13 solo), with 6 passes defended and 1 interception. The sophomore finished out the 2022 season with 45 combined tackles (34 solo), 8 passes defended, 1 interception and 1 fumble recovery.

Expect him to keep adding to the stat sheet as he and the Crimson Tide face Arkansas at Noon ET on Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
