Week 2 SEC game rated as the most-watched college football game of the 2020 season
No doubt about it, SEC football remains must-watch football each and every weekend.
After Mississippi State’s upset of LSU during Week 1 of the SEC season rated as the most-watched college football game of the 2020 season, the following weekend’s matchup of Alabama and Texas A&M has now topped that mark.
Both games were broadcast nationally by CBS.
According to CBS, the Alabama-Texas A&M game was viewed by 4.760 million viewers, which no other college football game can match so far this season.
At one point during the game, during the 5 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. ET time slot, the game featured 6.262 million viewers.
Based on these figures, the SEC package continues to be the most valuable and best package in college football for CBS.
