Mark Ingram’s prediction for the big battle between No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama is in. And predictably, the Ravens’ running back is rolling with his alma mater.

“My prediction is a Bama beatdown,” Ingram said in the Ravens’ locker room on Friday ahead of their game against the Bengals on Sunday. “We’ve been doing this. Every year y’all want to hype up this LSU-Bama game. We own them. They’re our stepson, stepchild, redheaded stepchild at that. Roll Tide all day, we finna whoop that.”

It’s not surprising that Ingram’s picking the Tide in this one, and for this game, he’s turned up the trash talk in a big way. While Ingram and Alabama fell to LSU in his final season in Tuscaloosa, he still picked up wins over the Tigers in 2008 and 2009. The Tide have dominated the series of late, winning the last 8 matchups, including a 29-0 shutout at Death Valley last year.

With the Tigers looking to finally break that long losing streak and the Tide seeking to keep their unbeaten season intact and move up to No. 1, this game’s deserving of the hype.
