Tommy Rees blasted on social media amid Alabama’s first-half offensive struggles

Tommy Rees is in his first year as the offensive coordinator at Alabama and things … well, things haven’t been going super great so far.

After struggling at USF last week, the Crimson Tide continued those struggles in the first half of Saturday’s home game against No. 15 Ole Miss.

At one point, the Tide got the ball inside the Rebels’ 2-yard line after blocking a punt. They then lost yards on 3 straight plays and had to settle for a field-goal try.

As you might imagine, the first-half struggles drew plenty of ire on social media, most of it directed at Rees. Here’s a sampling of some of that anger from X (formerly Twitter):

Can Tommy Rees get the offense back on track? If these struggles continue in the second half, you can bet we’ll hear plenty of boos from the Alabama faithful who came to watch the game at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
