One of the defining images from the 2020 SEC basketball season was when Alabama defender Herb Jones played with 1 hand after breaking his left wrist. He then became quite proficient as a one-handed free-throw shooter.

Now, the junior forward has made a decision regarding the 2020 NBA Draft.

According to an Instagram post on Saturday, Jones has decided to enter the draft, but won’t hire an agent, which preserves his college eligibility:

Jones appeared in 27 games for the Crimson Tide in 2019-20, starting 26 of them. He averaged 7.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

His versatility could certainly be useful at the NBA level. Will he stay in the draft or return to school? We’ll find out over the next couple of months.
