Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is out for the rest of the season with a dislocated hip. The University of Alabama announced the news following the quarterback’s injury Saturday in the 38-7 win over Mississippi State.

Tagovailoa left the game late in the second quarter with Alabama leading 35-7. He was transported by ambulance from the stadium, and he was airlifted to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

College football has been mourning the loss of Tagovailoa for 2019, and everyone is wondering if we’ve seen the last of the Alabama quarterback in college football.

Tagovailoa hasn’t spoken to the media since suffering the horrific injury, but he did thank fans for their prayers and well wishes on social media Saturday night.

The Alabama quarterback finishes the season with 2,584 passing yards, 31 touchdowns and three interceptions.
