Tua Tagovailoa named Miami Dolphins team captain ahead of 2022 season

Tua Tagovailoa enters the most important season of his young NFL career in 2022.
The former Alabama star enters 2022 as the Miami Dolphins’ starting quarterback, and the team has significantly upgraded the talent around him on offense. The big splash, of course, was signing WR Tyreek Hill away from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tagovailoa appeared in 13 games for the Dolphins last season, making 12 starts. He threw for 2,653 yards, 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
He’ll have to be much better in 2022 to prove to Dolphins coaches and fans that he is the quarterback of the present and the future for this team.
