AJ McCarron’s Alabama record of 80 career touchdowns was in obvious danger entering Saturday. With the first half still in progress, the record now belongs to Crimson Tide QB Tua Tagovailoa.
After tying McCarron’s record in the first quarter with some help from DeVonta Smith, Tagovailoa broke the record with a seven-yard touchdown early in the second quarter. Check out the play in the video below:
