Tyler Booker shares Alabama mindset after Texas: 'We're pissed off'
After losing to Texas at home Saturday, Alabama is fired up.
The Tide are not ready to give up their hopes of another national championship, but they will likely have to be perfect the remainder of the season to get there.
Offensive lineman Tyler Booker shared the mindset of the team following the game in a press conference Monday afternoon.
“The mindset of the team, we’re pissed off, not gonna lie,” Booker said. “Who wants to lose at home? There’s only ever been 2 undefeated teams to win the national championship here at the University of Alabama. All of our goals are still attainable. We can still win the SEC West, we can still win the SEC and get a College Football Playoff spot. This was just a wake up call for us and we’re all taking heed to what coach is saying.”
A “pissed off” mindset is probably what Alabama will need to have if it wants to salvage the season following the loss. With tough matchups like Ole Miss, Tennessee and LSU on their slate, the Tide have a tough road ahead of them.
