Tyler Steen has been a starter for the past 3 years on Vanderbilt’s offensive line.

But, following the 2021 season, he decided to enter the transfer portal and explore his options for his final 2 years of college eligibility. And, on Tuesday, he announced that he’d chosen a new school.

As you can see below, Steen took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to reveal that he was committing to the Alabama Crimson Tide for the 2022 campaign:

The Miami native will now get to work trying to earn a spot on Alabama’s offensive line. But, he has plenty of experience against SEC defensive linemen, so he is no stranger to elite competition.

We’ll see what sort of role he’s able to carve out for himself in Tuscaloosa, as this was a big recruiting win for Nick Saban and the Tide.
