While Alabama and Texas A&M are undefeated, the Crimson Tide are 16.5-point favorites over the Aggies in Week 8.

This iteration of ‘Bama doesn’t appear to have any flaws at this juncture. Offense, defense, special teams — all three phases have been dominant for the majority of the campaign. A&M has some more easily identifiable shortcomings.

That being said, if the Tide do have a weakness, it could be in the secondary. While corners Minkah Fitzpatrick and Marlon Humphrey and safeties Ronnie Harrison and Eddie Jackson are all tremendous individually, collectively they’ve given up some big plays. Alabama has allowed 11 pass plays longer than 30 yards. Just two SEC teams have allowed more. The Tide have given up three passes of 50 or more yards. Only Arkansas has allowed more.

Texas A&M has the weapons necessary to challenge them, too.
