WATCH: Nick Saban comes out firing in first Alabama press conference of the spring
You’d think most coaches coming off a last-second national championship victory over their protege would be enjoying life. Of course, we know by now that Nick Saban isn’t like most coaches.
Alabama held its first practice of spring on Tuesday. Following the practice, Saban held his first press conference and took issue with some of the questions thrown his way. While this isn’t anywhere close to as heated as Saban has gotten in the past during these settings, he sure did come out fired up considering its still March and the season opener is over six months away.
While his opening statements were quite reserved, it was after he fielded some questions from the media that these reactions followed.
Saban’s first reaction in the video below came after being asked about the quarterback competition for the second time early during the questions segment of the press conference. His second reaction came after being asked about receiver Devonta Smith practicing at defensive back. His final reaction came after being asked about the massive turnover on his coaching staff.
