WATCH: Trent Richardson tackled by his dreadlocks during AAF game

The Birmingham Iron are playing their second game in the new Alliance of American Football, taking on the Salt Lake Stallions.
Former Alabama RB Trent Richardson is a big part of the Birmingham offense, and one of his carries on Saturday ended up being more painful than others.
As you can see below, he was dragged down by his dreadlocks during Saturday’s game:

Fortunately, he stayed in the game, but that’s a legal tackle, so no flag was thrown.
Still, a rude awakening for Richardson, who has shown flashes of brilliance in his short stint with the Iron so far.
