The Birmingham Iron are playing their second game in the new Alliance of American Football, taking on the Salt Lake Stallions.

Former Alabama RB Trent Richardson is a big part of the Birmingham offense, and one of his carries on Saturday ended up being more painful than others.

Fortunately, he stayed in the game, but that’s a legal tackle, so no flag was thrown.

Still, a rude awakening for Richardson, who has shown flashes of brilliance in his short stint with the Iron so far.
