Arkansas scored a major recruiting win on Monday afternoon in the class of 2024.

The Razorbacks earned a commitment from 4-star athlete Noreel White. The Mississippi native chose Arkansas over offers from other SEC programs such as Ole Miss, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State and others.

Here’s his announcement:

White is a major addition for Arkansas in the class of 2024. He currently ranks as the No. 342 overall player and the No. 40 athlete in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 10 player from the state of Mississippi.

He’s listed at 6-foot, 170 pounds. He attends St. Martin High School in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

White could end up playing on either side of the ball in college, but his primary recruiter is co-defensive coordinator Marcus Woodson. That indicates Arkansas is planning to use White on the defensive side of the ball — at least early in his career.

Arkansas now has 3 commitments in the class of 2024. Overall, the group ranks No. 24 nationally according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
