Arkansas CB Kee’yon Stewart was arrested before the Razorbacks’ first game of the 2023 season.

Washington County online records show that Stewart was arrested by Arkansas State Police and charged with reckless driving and speeding. ASP communications director Cindy Murphy told Tom Murphy of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that Stewart was clocked going 126 mph on Interstate 49 at 9:36 a.m. Friday morning in 2023 Chevrolet Camaro.

Stewart was booked Friday morning and posted $385 bond that evening. According to Mason Choate of Rivals.com, Stewart did not make the trip to Little Rock for Arkansas’ Week 1 game. The Hogs defeated Western Carolina 56-13.

Stewart is in the fifth year of his college football career. He played his first 4 seasons at TCU, suffering season-ending injuries in 2020 and ’21. His redshirt season and the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver allow him to play in 2023 and ’24.

Last season, Stewart played in 13 games for a TCU squad that reached the College Football Playoff National Championship. Stewart had 14 tackles, 3 pass breakups and 1 forced fumble in his fourth season. He had 1 solo tackle in the Horned Frogs’ loss to Georgia. As a transfer portal prospect, Stewart was rated 3-stars, the No. 87 cornerback and No. 656 player in the portal on 247Sports.
