While it’s a bit late in the game (thanks Michigan), Arkansas has announced it has finalized its football schedule for the 2019 season.

The Razorbacks will welcome Western Kentucky to Fayetteville on Nov. 9, 2019. The game represents the final non-conference game on the schedule for Arkansas in 2019 and the last out of league game required to be played by the program. This game will represent the first meeting between the two programs.

This opening in Arkansas’ schedule is due to Michigan pulling out of a scheduled trip to Fayetteville. Due to the fact the Wolverines made the decision so late in the process, the SEC has granted Arkansas a waiver allowing them to schedule four games against non-Power 5 opponents.

Arkansas is already scheduled to host Portland State on Aug. 31, Colorado State on Sept. 14 and San Jose State on Sept. 21. The season opener or the San Jose State game could be played in Little Rock, not Fayetteville — the final decisions on the locations of those games has not been determined at this time.
