Arkansas offense getting shredded on social media as Razorbacks struggle against Alabama
By Sydney Hunte
Published:
Arkansas, specifically its offense, is feeling the heat as it has failed to do much of anything against Alabama on Saturday.
After punting on their 1st possession, the Razorbacks kicked a pair of field goals to take a 6-0 lead. Their possessions since then: punt, punt, punt, end of half, punt, punt.
The Razorbacks had 3 combined 1st down conversions on their 2 field goal drives in the 1st quarter. Their 4th came with just under 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and came on a 77-yard touchdown drive that ended with about 30 seconds remaining in the frame.
To put it into perspective, between Cam Little’s 49-yard field goal that made it 6-0 with 2 minutes left in the 1st and the aforementioned Razorbacks’ touchdown drive, they had run 17 plays for just 21 yards of total offense.
Will the touchdown serve as a spark for Arkansas, or will the game continue to trend the way it has been for much of the afternoon? Regardless, social media had plenty to say about the inept showing:
Razorbacks now up to 14 yards of offense since the first quarter.

I'd rather spend an afternoon with that dumb steer Bevo than watch this version of the Arkansas offense.

This Arkansas offense is an extremely difficult watch. It’s hard to make sense of what I watch week to week top to bottom.
