Arkansas QB Austin Allen doesn't think Auburn DE Carl Lawson's hit was dirty
Arkansas QB Austin Allen left Saturday’s loss at Auburn after taking a shot to the knee from Tigers DE Carl Lawson.
Though many said the hit from Lawson was dirty, Allen cleared the air on Tuesday, saying he doesn’t see it that way:
Austin Allen: Lawson knee shot not dirty: "If our guy did it I wouldn't think anything of it & I don't think anything of it that he did it.

Dirty or not, Arkansas coach Bret Bielema doesn’t want his starting quarterback taking many more big hits like that this season.
Fortunately for the Hogs, it appears Allen won’t miss any more time with the injury:
