Arkansas super fan John Daly admits he's doing his part to lure a notable coach to Fayetteville
Arkansas fans have clearly staked out their favorite candidate to be the next coach of the Razorbacks. Golfer and Arkansas super fan John Daly is leading the charge.
In an interview on “The Paul Finebaum Show,” Daly said he would like to see Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin at Arkansas, and was hoping Rex Ryan would be in the mix, via Chris Vannini of The Athletic.
On Kiffin: “He’s not telling me much. I’ve been bugging him for the last few days, please come to Arkansas.”
This isn’t the first time Daly has lobbied for Arkansas to make a hire. Two years ago, he pushed Houston Nutt to be the athletics director.
Let’s bring the passion back to Hog Nation @UArkansas and get Houston Nutt @CBSCoachNutt as our AD!! #GoHogs 🐗🇺🇸

A Daly continues to recover from knee surgery earlier this month, he has plenty of time to follow the Arkansas coaching search, which is suddenly in a competitive state after Missouri and Ole Miss head coaching positions came open this weekend.
