Bret Bielema, Arkansas football players take to Twitter about SEC Championship basketball officiating
Things got a bit chippy during the SEC men’s basketball championship between Arkansas and Kentucky on Sunday, and the football team seemed less than pleased about the result.
It all started when the Wildcats’ freshman phenom Malik Monk made a throat-slashing gesture at the Arkansas bench with the result well in hand. Arkansas retaliated by setting an overly physical screen, and then all hell broke loose.

Members of both teams were jawing back and forth from the benches in Nashville, and current and former players of the Arkansas football team sounded off on twitter after the scuffle:
Love the physicality #gohogs

Bret Bielema, in a move that perfectly describes why he’s the most fun coach in the SEC, seemed to suggest that the fix was in for the Wildcats.
#WoooPig also love the smiles and hugs the officials give Kentucky players when talking to them about the game and ending https://t.co/yQpvWEpUjp

Don’t ever change, coach.
Kentucky won the SEC Championship 82-65 over Arkansas, the Cats’ third conference championship in a row.
