Since 1996, Arkansas and LSU have played for the Golden Boot, a massive, gold trophy depicting the states of Arkansas and Louisiana. Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema had a hilarious description Wednesday for the trophy that goes to the winner of the Battle of the Boot.
“It kind of looks like a bad neck chain from the 80s,” he said on the weekly SEC coaches teleconference. “It’s a little gaudy. It’s a little big. But it’s gold plated.”

Bielema’s Razorbacks have won the Golden Boot the last two years. Despite Arkansas’ home-field advantage on Saturday night, however, LSU is favored by seven points to win the game and reclaim the trophy.
That’s if they want it:
I've always thought LOSER of the LSU-Arkansas game should be forced to keep The Boot trophy. Think of the motivation to win to keep it away!
