If you’ve been following the Arkansas Razorbacks this offseason, you’ve heard the name Trey Knox. The freshman receiver has turned heads since the spring.

However, on Saturday, after the Hogs’ second scrimmage of the fall, coach Chad Morris singled out a different freshman receiver — Treylon Burks — for praise.

After the scrimmage, Morris called it the “best day Burks has had.” He also praised sophomore WR Mike Woods (via WholeHogSports.com):

The freshmen receivers looked good. Best day Burks has had. He’s very explosive and powerful. He and Mike Woods aren’t scared to catch balls across the middle. They were as consistent today as they’ve been all camp.

Burks caught a touchdown pass from Nick Starkel during the scrimmage. Arkansas tweeted a GIF of the play, which appears to be a nice over-the-shoulder grab by Burks:

Much will be expected of Arkansas’s young receivers this fall, and thus far, it looks like they’re up to the challenge.
