Drew Sanders has made a decision.

The star Arkansas linebacker, one of the best defenders in the SEC, announced Tuesday that he would be forgoing his final season at Arkansas and entering the 2023 NFL Draft. To prepare, Sanders also announced that he would be opting out of the Razorbacks’ Liberty Bowl matchup against Kansas.

Here is Sanders’ message to Arkansas fans:

Sanders is currently rated as the No. 17 overall prospect in the draft by Mel Kiper and the top ranked inside linebacker.

He totaled an incredible 103 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 5 pass deflections and 1 interceptions this past season for the Razorbacks. He has 136 tackles across his career, in case you’re wondering how much of a breakout year the junior had after transferring from Alabama.

They’ll remember him around Fayetteville for years to come.
