After waiting patiently for his chance to take the court, Ibrahim Ali is now prepared to evaluate his options with Eric Musselman now leading the Razorback program.

The 6-foot-10 big man redshirted his first season in Fayetteville but decided to place his name into the NCAA transfer portal according to Trey Biddy of 247Sports. When a player enters his name into the NCAA transfer portal, he still has the option to return to the program, however, this is the first step toward allowing other schools to contact them before ultimately leaving the program.

The in-state product arrived in Fayetteville as a three-star prospect after averaging four points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks as a senior at Maumelle High School as a senior. Ali was born in Nigeria before arriving in Maumelle. Prior to signing with Arkansas, Ali was committed to Baylor but decided to begin his college career in-state at Arkansas.
