While Bret Bielema’s offenses at Arkansas occasionally included explosive receivers, they rarely got an opportunity to showcase their skills in the run-based, tight end heavy system. That obviously won’t be the case under Chad Morris.

During his recent media availability Thursday evening, senior receiver Jonathan Nance discussed why he’s so excited to play in Morris’ offensive system for his final season in Fayetteville. It should come as no surprise he pointed to the opportunity to showcase his talents more often.

“I get an opportunity to make a lot more big, explosive plays with the new offense that we are running,” Nance said.

With an eye toward this weekend’s spring game in Little Rock, Nance promised the team is fired up to show Razorback Nation just what the team has been doing in the new offense.

“We are ready. Everybody is hyped up, everybody wants to score,” Nance continued. “So, we’ll see who gets in the box down there in Little Rock. They will be ready for us to come down there and make some plays for them.”

As for his pitch to Arkansas fans as to why they should show up for the spring game in Little Rock, here’s what Nance had to say, courtesy of Scottie Bordelon of Whole Hog Sports:
