After today’s practice, Bret Bielema told the media that Kendrick Edwards has really grown over the past four weeks and has earned the right to return to the team this summer. Edwards was dismissed from the team in March and was granted a release to transfer to another school. He will continue to sit out this spring, but will rejoin the team on a “probationary status” if he continues to do the things he’s supposed to do off the field.

Last season, Edwards played in 11 games and caught four passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. When spring practice started, he was expected to play a major role during the 2015 season and compete for a starting job opposite Keon Hatcher.
