Luke Brown, a noteworthy offensive lineman recruit out of Paris, Tennessee (Henry County) has announced his commitment to play in the SEC.

Brown, a 4-star interior offensive lineman who is rated the No. 12 player at his position in the class of 2023, has  committed to Arkansas. The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder went public with his decision on Tuesday, and became the 11th commitment in the Hogs’ 2023 recruiting class. The 247Sports Composite rates him the No. 258 overall prospect in the country and the No. 5 overall prospect in his home state of Tennessee.

Brown chose the Razorbacks over the likes of Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech among the offers. He made his decision on Saturday while on Arkansas’ campus but waited until Tuesday to announce it via Instagram.

Cooper Petagna, a 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst, gave Brown a positive review in his thorough evaluation in February.

“Verified at 6-foot-5 and 300-pounds plus, possesses a wide frame and limited growth potential to add additional weight to his frame,” Petagna wrote. “Will need one or two years in a collegiate strength and conditioning program to shape his body. Displays above average athletic ability at the left tackle position.”
