As the 2017 season draws closer, more of this year’s NFL Draft picks are signing their rookie contracts.

On Thursday, the New England Patriots made a move by signing fourth-round DE Deatrich Wise, a former Arkansas Razorback, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

Wise will reunited with fellow ex-Hog Trey Flowers, who recorded 7.0 sacks for the Pats last season.

During his career at Arkansas, Wise appeared in 50 games, recording 116 tackles and 16.5 sacks. At 6-5 and 274 pounds, Wise has the size to become an impact player for the New England defense.

With the two Hogs making life tough on opposing quarterbacks, the Pats will likely find themselves in a position to make another deep playoff run as they try to defend their Super Bowl LI title.
