It’s been a rough start to the 2017 season for the Arkansas Razorbacks, who currently sit at 1-2 through three games.

Losses to TCU and Texas A&M have hurt, making the road to six wins and a bowl berth much tougher.

However, ESPN College GameDay research producer Chris “Bear” Fallica thinks there’s a chance the Razorbacks could pull off a major upset in a few weeks to get back on track.

Speaking with the Northwest Arkansas Touchdown Club on Wednesday, Fallica said he thinks the Auburn Tigers need to watch their backs when they visit Fayetteville in a few weeks (via 247Sports):

“I think that Auburn game is the one that is really going to be the swing game,” he said. “Auburn’s offense is still, I mean, yeah, they beat Missouri, scored 50-something on Missouri, but everybody does. Arkansas has been a crazy team as an underdog. Either they win the game outright or they typically lose the game the last few times. Auburn is going to come in here as a favorite and I think that’ll be a really good spot for them to potentially steal one of those wins back that they couldn’t get against TCU or A&M. I wouldn’t give up the hope yet.”

Making things more difficult for Auburn is the fact that the game comes at the end of a four-game stretch that features Mississippi State, Ole Miss and LSU, so they may be battered and bruised by the time they take on the Hogs.

Also, as the last game before Auburn’s bye week, the Tigers may be looking ahead to a week off and overlook coach Bret Bielema’s squad.

Of course, the Razorbacks have a lot of improving to do if they want to take down a team like Auburn, but Fallica is right — the Tigers will need to be very careful during that game.
