Report: Arkansas assistant leaving Eric Musselman's staff for Big 12 program
Eric Musselman’s Arkansas staff has had a bit of turnover this offseason. Yesterday, former Cal State Fullerton associate head coach Gus Argenal was hired by the Hogs, reuniting with Musselman after they worked together at Nevada.
Now, though, Muss’s staff has another opening to fill.
Per a report from college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, associate head coach David Patrick is joining Porter Moser’s Oklahoma staff in the same position:
Sources: Oklahoma's Porter Moser has hired Arkansas' David Patrick as Associate Head Coach. Joins K.T. Turner (also Associate Head Coach) and Emmanuel Dildy on staff. Sooners are loading up.

Patrick joined the Arkansas staff prior to last season. He had previously been the head coach at UC Riverside.
As Jeff Goodman notes, this marks 16 different assistants through Musselman’s first 7 years as a head coach:
Musselman will enter his seventh season as head coach in the college ranks next season — and he’ll have 16 different assistant coaches in that span.
That just might be a record. https://t.co/rtvVxwAnIQ

Musselman is known for playing the transfer portal well when it comes to players. Clearly, he’s good at it with assistants, too.
