According to a report from Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Arkansas AD Jeff Long is undecided on whether the Razorbacks will continue to play games at War Memorial Stadium once the contract expires in 2018.

War Memorial Stadium is located in Little Rock. The team is under contract to play one game each year in the city until 2018. This season, Arkansas will play Alcorn State on Oct. 1.

As Long says, “it’s a difficult decision to make. I certainly hope this state doesn’t turn the decision about Little Rock, about adding to [Razorback Stadium] into a great stadium debate. To divide makes no sense to me.”

Pllaying in Little Rock offers fans in the central region of the state a chance to see their beloved Razorbacks play. Surely, these games are also played as a means to positively impact recruiting. The University of Arkansas (and Razorback Stadium) is located in the Northwest portion of the state.
