Report: Chiefs trade former Arkansas RB Knile Davis
Former Arkansas RB Knile Davis is no longer a Kansas City Chief, according to Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star. He’s been traded to the Green Bay Packers.
The #Chiefs have traded RB Knile Davis to the Green Bay Packers, a source tells me.

Davis joins former Alabama RB Eddie Lacy in Green Bay.
At Kansas City, Davis was at least the team’s fourth option, but in Green Bay, he has the chance to contribute right away. Lacy is dealing with an ankle injury and the other back, James Starks, had knee surgery. It’s clear the Packers needed depth.
During his four-year career with the Chiefs, Davis recorded 233 carries for 775 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was also a weapon in the return game, returning 69 kickoffs for 1,879 yards and two touchdowns.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter also added his two cents.
Each year before trade deadline or draft, a name that always popped up was Knile Davis. Felt like Chiefs trying to trade him for a while.
