Three-star outside linebacker Catrell Wallace won’t play for Arkansas, Sam Pittman announced Wednesday. Instead, Pittman believes Wallace will be heading to JUCO.

Wallace was arrested in February in connection with a sexual assault investigation, a felony, and tampering, also a felony.

The 6-foot-6 linebacker was ranked as the nation’s No. 43 outside backer and the state of Arkansas’ No. 6 overall prospect for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Wallace originally committed to play for the Razorbacks under Chad Morris; however, following the coaching change to Pittman, Wallace stuck with his commitment and signed with Arkansas during the Early Signing Period. Wallace played his prep football for Bryant High School in Saline County.

Linebacker was a position of need for Arkansas, but it’ll be down one in 2020.
