Just when you thought things couldn’t get much better for Arkansas, arguably the best player in the Summit League has announced he will be joining the Razorback program.

Former South Dakota guard Stanley Umude has just announced his commitment to Arkansas after three outstanding seasons in the Summit League. The three-time All-Summit selection averaged 21.5 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game last season. He also started 57 games in his final two seasons with South Dakota.

Umude is now the third transfer addition to the Arkansas roster this offseason as he joins former Pitt player Au’Diese Toney and former Miami player Chris Lykes to the roster.

In case any Razorback fans are worried that Umude simply dominated at a lower level, here are some highlights featuring the 28 points, six rebounds and four assists he had against No. 1 Kansas back in December of 2018.
