Ty Storey will undoubtedly go down in Arkansas football history as the Chad Morris slayer.

The former Razorback quarterback was not recruited to Fayetteville by Morris and left after just one season playing for the coach. It’s fair to wonder if Storey ever felt wanted by the now-former Arkansas coach as Morris inserted and replaced the quarterback into the lineup back in 2018. After starting nine games and playing in 10 that season, Storey left Arkansas as Morris was very active in recruiting other options under center in Fayetteville this offseason.

While both parties said all the right things leading up to Saturday’s Western Kentucky game, a recent post by Storey reveals a window into just how much beating Morris and Arkansas meant to him.

Check the caption below to Storey’s Instagram post featuring photos of Western Kentucky’s 45-19 win at Arkansas. Morris was fired the day after this game.

“‘Cause I told them that we put that behind us, but I lied’ On to the next one!! #gotops”

After seeing this, it’s pretty clear how Storey felt about his time playing for Morris.
