Auburn adds in-state RB to 2019 class as a preferred walk-on

The Auburn Tigers put together a strong 2019 class. Currently, it ranks No. 12 in the country and No. 6 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
On Sunday, Gus Malzahn landed a commitment from an in-state running back, who will join the class as a preferred walk-on.
As you can see below, Birmingham native Jalen Henderson announced on Twitter that he’d be heading to Auburn next fall:

Per the 247Sports rankings, Henderson is a 2-star recruit who is the No. 162 running back in the 2019 class and the No. 89 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.
