Bryan Harsin just got a big-time commitment from the Auburn program. All-SEC safety Smoke Monday has announced he is returning for the 2021 season.

Announcing his decision in an Instagram post (below), Monday thanked former coach Gus Malzahn while sharing that he sees a bright future with Harsin:

“… I would like to thank Coach Malzahn for everything he’s done for, along with all of the other coaches that have had a hand in my development as a student, an athlete and the man I am today.

“…I would also like to thank Coach Harsin for being real with me and understanding the hardship that this team has went through and providing us the space to finish out the season. I believe he will do great things at Auburn.”

An Atlanta native, Monday recorded 73 tackles, including 4 TFL and a sack, and 2 interceptions this season, his third with the Tigers.
